Dr. Yoojun Chung
Chiropractor / Director

Dr. Yoojun Chung is a Sports Chiropractor and co-founder of Prime Recovery Clinic. He graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2012. Since graduating, Dr. Chung obtained his interest in CrossFit and expanded his education in the nature of the functional movements of human body. He also has experience working as a strength and conditioning coach at a CrossFit box, teaching the community about the correct movement techniques to build strength and prevent injury.

Dr. Chung believes that the optimum health and wellness can be achieved not only through Chiropractic Care, but also by the combination of soft tissue mobilisation and correcting dysfunctional movement through corrective exercise. To help the community achieve this, Dr. Chung has studied and obtained multiple certifications including:

  • Active Release Technique (ART), Full Body Certified (Upper extremity, Lower extremity, Spine)
  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
  • Functional Movement Screen (FMS)

Dr. Yoojun Chung is highly experienced in the management and prevention of injury for athletes and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, not only related to the spine but also in the upper and lower extremities.

 


 

 

 


 

Mike (Minho) Lee
Acupuncturist / TCM Practitioner

Mike is fully qualified Acupuncturist and herbalist since 2006, graduated from New Zealand School of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine with National Diploma of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine.
He has been working with homeopathy, physiotherapists and chiropractors in the past with various experiences in different environments.
Also Mike exposures himself with different aspects and approaches to overcome the clinical issues such as:
  • Ear & Hand Acupuncture
  • Tong Acupuncture
  • Cosmetic Acupuncture
  • Korean Saam Acupuncture
  • Body balance technique
He is able to deal with internal & external problems related to musculoskeletal system and organs.
Mike takes a holistic approach when looking at a person’s health, not only focusing on the current pain but also the cause of the underlying conditions to help lead the patient to better quality of life.

Tony (Lueng-Shuen) Wang
Acupuncturist / TCM Practitioner

Tony completed his six year degree at Daejeon University in South Korea, in Bachelor of Oriental Medicine. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he gained his practitioner’s licence. Tony also received his New Zealand National Diploma in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine. He received further training in China, completing a two-year internship shortly after graduating.

Tony has worked in his own medical clinic and hospitals in South Korea and New Zealand. He has gathered over 30 years of experience in the:

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
  • Traditional Korean Medicine and Acupuncture
  • Korean Oriental Herbal Medicine (Hanyak)
  • Oriental Acupuncture in Dermatology (Mae-Sun Face Lifting)
  • Oriental Dietary Acupuncture and Medicine
  • Dong-Shi Acupuncture

Tony has dedicated his medical career to ensuring the health of his patients with care in all aspects of physical and mental health. He specialises in treating areas of pain and disease and ensures that all treatments are catered to the needs of the individual.
